Guidance Updates for Field Trips and
Outdoor School Programs

 Dear School and District Leaders,

ODE has updated the Outdoor School Program Guidance and Field Trip Guidance that are linked on our website.

The updates affect determination of cohort size, physical distancing and overnight trips. Updates to cohort size and physical distancing bring these pieces of guidance into alignment with the current iteration of the Ready Schools, Safe Learners guidance.

The update to overnight trips brings the guidance into alignment with OHA’s current guidance around youth programs and essential travel.
